Our mission is to provide support, networking for developing, create awareness and prevention towards fighting hepatitis.  We are here to build a united voice to rally support for greater involvement for generations to come.

The IAHAPF foundation is committed to creating awareness and prevention and to help individuals and families directly stricken with viral hepatitis by assisting them with some of the added financial burden they experience when their loved ones is in a Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer)treatment.  We will work closely with each family to help them determine the type of support that will make the most impact for theri situation. Our goal is to help as many individuals and families as we can as soon as possible. There are individuals in liver cancer treatment and their families are in need of help. We are ready to help them but we can't do it without you!

Please support the IAHAPF Foundation, to help us create awareness and prevention because   Knowledge is Power, Awareness and Prevention is Life!

Our mission has four distinct parts:

1)
Create awareness and prevention to the public how to prevent, diagnose, and treat viral hepatitis.
2) The foundation’s program will sponsor a family by providing up to $1,000 (over the course of weeks or months) in relief to help with either of or a combination of food and other household expenses, travel expenses relating to treatment such as gas, as well as reimbursement of uncovered medical expenses such as co-payments for office visits.
3) Serve as advocates for the community worldwide to inform about the Silent Viral Killer.
4) Host this website, your getaway to hepatitis and liver care information.

To accomplish this, we need your help. If you have been affected by hepatitis, please share your story with us. If you would like to join us in the ongoing fight against viral hepatitis, please visit our donate section.  Our group appreciates all tax deductible donations and any other type of generous support which helps us continue our work. How Serious Is Viral Hepatitis?

Over time, about 15% to 25% of people with chronic hepatitis infection develop serious conditions, including liver damage, cirrhosis, liver failure, or liver cancer. With early detection, many people can get lifesaving care and treatment that can limit disease progression, prevent cancer deaths and help break the cycle of unknowing transmissions to others.

If you think you might be at risk for viral hepatitis, talk to your health professional or health department about getting tested.
